Gbenga Daniels

Gbenga Daniels is a Nigerian politician and a former governor of Ogun State. Also, he remains one of the longest-serving governors of Ogun State and a chieftain in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Richard Mofe Damijo

Richard Mofe Damijo is a popular Nollywood actor and politician. He was born in Warri, Delta State. RMD as he is fondly called received the award of the “Best Actor in a Leading Role” in 2005 at the African Movie Academy Award.

At a point in time, RMD was made the Commission of Culture and Tourism by the Delta State Government. He is happily married and blessed with five children.

Joy Uche Angela Ogwu

Joy Uche Angela Ogwu is one of the notable women in Nigerian history. She has held the post of the Foreign Minister of Nigeria (the second woman to occupy this position in the history of Nigeria) and also served as the Permanent Representative of Nigeria in the United Nations (UN).

Yemi Osinbajo

Yemi Osinbajo occupies the seat of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which makes him the second citizen of Nigeria.

He was chosen as the running mate of the flagbearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 General Elections. He is a Professor of Law and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

He studied at the University of Lagos between 1975 to 1978 where he graduated with a Second Class Upper Degree in Law.

Gabriel Suswam

Former Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam is one of the notable alumni of the prestigious University of Lagos.

In 1986, he was admitted into the school’s Faculty of Law and in 1989, he acquired an LL.B degree. In 1990, Gabriel Suswam obtained a BL certificate from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos.

He was victorious in the 1999 elections and represented the Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) platform.

In 2007, he ran for the office of the Governor and he won, also, he was reelected into office in 2011.

Omoyele Sowore

Omoyele Sowore is not a new name in the Nigerian political circle. He is a former presidential aspirant, a human rights activist and the founder of the online newspaper, Sahara Reporters.

He studied Geography and Planning in UNILAG between 1989 to 1995. Also, he was the President of the school’s Student Union Government (SUG) between 1992 to 1994.

He obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University, New York. Sowore came fifth in the 2019 General Elections with 33,953 votes. He resides in Haworth, New Jersey with his family.
